Wow, never thought I'd see a sex related question on this blog. I'm on the male side of cosplay. And no, not even making out with a girl in cosplay has ever crossed my mind, much less sex. To me, that means the person would be thinking of the character, not the person, even girlfriend/boyfriend.

I get them, though rarely. They didn’t ask specifics, so it’s cool with me. (Also it’s TMI Tuesday—I’ve been expecting it to happen one day. xD) oxo I can see where you’re coming from. It’s always something I’ve been cautious about, but that potential problem has always pretty much been resolved for me before getting into a relationship with someone. It’s just roleplaying, really. A way to “spice things up”? It’s not for everyone, but for two consenting adults, it’s up to them what they want to try.

I think some of my best Con memories are going to get food at places around the con while still in costume. Yes, you get some weird looks sometimes, other times people are enthusiastic, my husband once got catcalled by a girl from a moving car while walking down the street as Sebastian. The once a little girl saw me as Jack Frost and was so happy and excited. "Jack Frost! You're real!" I also rate businesses by how well they'll treat you no matter you're dressed/how strange you appear.

ALL OF THIS

Cosplaying in public can be so much fun and leave you with some fun memories!

IF YOUR HEART DIDN’T SHATTER INTO A MILLION FRAGMENTS WHEN THAT LAST LINE WAS SAID YOU ARE NOT HUMAN.

I watched this the other week and i started crying my eyes out.

See. It’s not fair. They took Goofy, who even in GOOF TROOP was still just overly silly and meant for splapstick, and they give Goofy real world fatherhood problems. And to this DAY I will still mist up for this scene.

Best Disney dad ever.

How comfortable are you in cosplay outside of cons? Like my friends at my last con said let's go to red lobster!! (Seafood place) which was like 4 blocks and we were all in cosplay. I was like what're you crazy?! I'm not walking that far in this!! They were lucky there were most Dave's, johns, dirks and jades. Still cosplay, but passable for "normal people", somewhat. I was in a medieval style tunic, cloak and hood and had foam weapons XD I didn't go. Are you shy out in public in cosplay??

I am very comfortable in cosplay outside of conventions! (I have Red Lobster here. ;3 Never been, though.) Well, I don’t know if it’s different in other states, but anytime I’ve traveled away from the con in cosplay for anything, or even gone out in cosplay when doing a random photo shoot (no convention), I’ve always gotten a positive response from the general public! Either people know there’s a con going on and don’t ask; or they ask if there is a on going on. I’ve been asked several times if I’m performing in a play, and if that’s why I’m dressed up. XD In the past, many years ago, my friends and I were made fun of. Nowadays people are much more kind!

So…nope! Not shy! I’m careful, because some people will be stupid, but for the most part I feel comfortable in cosplay no matter where I am. x3
